11/29- Holiday Christmas Tree Lighting, 6-9pm (905 Sycamore Street)

Join us for a night of holiday cheer! Bring your own folding chair and a family or pet photo to add your own ornament to be hung on the community Christmas tree. This is a family friendly event, so come enjoy each other's company, make ornaments, carol, and decorate the tree. Vendors will be available for food and hot chocolate.


11/30- Red Oak Christmas Show/Parade, W.B. Ennis Park, 1-6pm

The 7th Annual Christmas Festival with a theme of Home Alone: Lost in Red Oak! The event is from 1pm to 6pm with a parade at 4pm. There will be plenty of rides and activities for all ages.


12/1- Capture the Magic of Christmas with Santa & Mrs. Claus, 526 E Nash Street, Spring Hope, 2-4pm

Join us on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 2-4 PM at Jason Walters Real Estate for an unforgettable Christmas celebration! Bring your camera and take pictures with Santa, Mr. Grinch, and Cindy Lou Who! Enjoy live Christmas music, craft making, and you can even write a letter to Santa! This event is FREE for everyone! 581 Concessions will also be there, selling sweet treats and fresh lemonade to add a little extra joy to the day.


12/3- 2024 Lights of Love Tree Lighting (2460 Curtis Ellis Drive in Rocky Mount), 5:30pm

-Each year, the UNC Health Nash Foundation gives community members the chance to honor or celebrate a loved one as a part of its Lights of Love campaign.

-Designate a light or an ornament on the Christmas tree in honor or in celebration of a loved one this holiday season. The trees are displayed throughout the holiday season, and the name(s) recited at the official tree lighting event.

-Lights of Love not only serves as a way to honor or celebrate someone, but also as a way for the UNC Health Nash Foundation to raise money for the Annual Fund. Annual Funds can be used towards patient assistance in different areas of the hospital including the Danny Talbott Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Women’s Center, Inpatient Food Pantry, Community Paramedic Program and numerous other projects.


12/4- Rocky Mount Mills Tower Lighting 4:30-8pm

Join us as we celebrate the start of the holidays in person at the 7th Annual Tower Lighting on Wednesday, December 4. It will be a festive night with horse carriage rides, Santa, live music, Christmas Market at The Power House, The Grinch and more! Save the date, the festivities will kick off at 4:30pm. Stay tuned as we will continue to update the schedule. Holiday Happenings spread throughout Campus from 4:30-8:00pm

12/7- Tis the Season at Hardly Farms, 605 Mt Hebron Rd, Castalia, 11am-4pm

Visit Hardly Farm on December 7th to shop till you drop! We’ll have vendors, food trucks, alpacas, and our llama; Wednesday Addams! Santa is even traveling all the way from the North Pole to meet you and take pictures from 1pm-3pm. We are asking for a $5 per car donation to shop and visit with the animals. We will have a professional photographer onsite for pictures with Santa (1pm-3pm). This fee is $10 per digital picture. 12/7- Lunch with the Grinch at Pizza Inn (1473 Hunter Hill Road in Rocky Mount), 12-2pm

Join us for a festive lunch with the Grinch this holiday season! Enjoy a delightful meal filled with seasonal treats while you mingle and take photos with everyone’s favorite holiday mischief-maker. 12/7- Kids Christmas and Craft Party (415 S Wesleyan Blvd in Rocky Mount), 12-2pm

Get ready for a magical day full of crafts, fun, and holiday cheer at our Kids Christmas Party! Here’s what’s in store for your little ones: holiday crafts – let their creativity shine, delicious lunch – kid-friendly bites to fuel the fun, hot chocolate bar – top it off with marshmallows and holiday joy! 12/8- 8th Annual Mill Chill

Four-mile foot race and 1.5-mile fun run from the Rocky Mount Mills to benefit Multiple Sclerosis. Join us for an afternoon of fun running competition among brewery run club teams, community camaraderie, food trucks, live music and craft beer. Register here!

Bring your family pet on Saturday, December 14 to have their picture taken with Santa this Holiday Season! Treat bags will be provided while supplies last. Join us for a special holiday acoustic performance with Chandler James & Meredith Davis Johnson on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 7-9PM. Doors open: 6:40. Advance tickets are $13 General / $8 Members; cost of admissions at the door will increase to $18 General / $13 Members, however we anticipate tickets to be sold out prior to show date.
