Twin County Food Truck Roundup: Food trucks and where to find them


The Twin Counties is home to many fantastic restaurants, but there is also a thriving and growing community of food trucks. Food trucks offer mobility and access to great food. There are a number of unique food trucks to enjoy in our area, as well as several great spots to check out food trucks on a regular basis.

Station Square in downtown Rocky Mount regularly hosts food trucks during lunch hours. The exact hours and food trucks on site vary, so be sure to check out their Facebook page to stay up-to-date.

Another prime location for food trucks in Rocky Mount is on Sutter’s Creek Blvd near Hobby Lobby. You can often find one or two food trucks present in the shopping center’s parking lot.

Tarboro Brewing Company in Tarboro is a consistent place to check out food trucks, often having food trucks Wednesday through Sunday. You can view their upcoming food truck and event schedule here.

  • Minnie Amazing Foods & Thingz | Try their awesome fried seafood or treat yourself to the fried lobster tail.

  • Money Baby Wingz and Thingz | Try different wing flavors or sample their fish or hotdogs.

  • King Tacos | Pick up these flavorful tacos with various meats available.

  • CAW Chicken and Waffles | Enjoy their chicken and waffles or their buffalo chicken fries.

  • XQuisito | Treat yourself to their diverse international menu featuring Japanese, Mexican, Central American, and American foods.

  • GrillVille | Try their wings, ribs, or nachos.

  • Southern Connection | Enjoy their menu of regional variations of barbecue like Texas brisket, Georgia pulled pork, and more.
