Rocky Mount Event Center

Located in the emerging Downtown Rocky Mount, the Rocky Mount Event Center is Eastern North Carolina’s Premier Sports and Entertainment Venue. The versatile venue has over 75,000 flexible square feet of playing space in the Field House that houses eight basketball courts or sixteen volleyball courts and includes the option of 50’X94’ master events or championship court, that can seat over 3,500 guests. In addition to the flex area, the Event Center also features a 15,000 square foot family entertainment center, Game Day Adventure and Arcade. This exhilarating adventure center offers aerial ropes courses, over 17 themed climbing walls, an arcade, various games and a soft play area for the younger guests. Game Day provides team-building opportunities for older guests, as well as birthday parties for younger guests! Last but not least, with two flexible banquet rooms that can be configured for smaller breakouts or large gatherings, RMEC is the perfect place for a wide variety of events including weddings, milestone celebrations, award ceremonies, corporate meetings, holiday outings and more. The Dunn Center is a premier venue in eastern NC. Located on the campus of NC Wesleyan University, in the heart of Rocky Mount, The Dunn Center is proud to host the Wesleyan Season Series of cultural events and concerts. In addition to these world-class performances, The Dunn Center features a variety of campus and community events, including concerts of the Tar River Swing Band and Orchestra and other various performances by nationally known artists. In support of the cultural mission and quality entertainment of The Dunn Center, the Mims & Gravely Art Galleries annually produce a series of art exhibits by nationally recognized and local professionals from various and diverse populations. Most gallery events are free to the public and bring music and art together for reception parties where visitors and art collectors can talk with visiting artists one on one. Most artworks are for sale and we encourage collecting from our exhibits.
