Goat Island Celebrates 6th Anniversary

This Saturday, April 8, Goat Island Bottle Shop will celebrate its 6th Anniversary with a big party featuring events all day long at the Rocky Mount Mills Beer Garden.

They will have live music by Will West from 3-6 p.m. and Sometimes Lions from 7-10 p.m.

Joining the live music, Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck will be on location from 5-8 p.m. serving up their delicious, authentic Maine lobster. You can order ahead to skip the line using their app.

Goat Island Bottle Shop will host their 6th Anniversary Celebration at the Rocky Mount Mills this Saturday with live music and Cousins Maine Lobster.

Goat Island features great craft beer and wine selections from breweries from around the nation. In addition to a wide variety of craft beers on tap, you can pick up four-packs or single cans of craft beers from inside their shop.

They regularly change their selection of beers on tap, so you’ll want to check back often. Among their current selections, you can try the Tar River IPA which is from Rocky Mount’s NC Beer Factory. You can see what they are currently offering by checking out their website, which also shows what is coming soon.

Goat Island is open Monday 5-9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 3-9 p.m., Friday 2-11 p.m., Saturday 12-11 p.m., and Sunday 2-6 p.m. In addition, they offer specials on Mondays for $4 drafts, $4 wines, and $2 domestic cans.

In addition to the 6th Anniversary celebration, Goat Island will host more events in the coming months including Palmyra at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 and the Holden Dixon Band at 7 p.m. on June 10.
