There are many great places in the Twin Counties to shop for holiday gifts. We wanted to share a few of our suggestions while also acknowledging there are many other local businesses worthy of recognition.

Small Shops Mall in Rocky Mount features an assortment of small, booth-style shops with antiques, toys, handmade crafts, and more. Their goal is to be “an incubator for local entrepreneurs to grow.” One of their largest shops is The Pequod, a used bookstore that offers used books across every genre as well as many beautifully-bound editions that make for great decorations (and reading). Bel Air Art Center will help you find gorgeous artwork created by a regional artist that is a perfect fit for you and your home.

Golden East Crossing in Rocky Mount is the classic indoor shopping mall experience with a variety of big, name-brand stores along with a number of locally owned businesses.

Bin & Barrel Wine Bar and Bottles offers single bottles of wine, as well as quarterly wine club memberships that would make great gifts.

Off the Main in Tarboro is a boutique and gift shop that offers a variety of gifts including clothing, home décor, and more. They also offer baked goods and other foods from Farmer & the Dail that you can get in time for the holidays.

Country Feedback in Tarboro is a shop that carries vintage clothing and décor, vinyl records, and more.

Jody’s of Nashville is a clothing shop that also carries a variety of home décor items, including ornaments and other decorations for the holidays.

The Painted Teacher in Nashville is a women’s boutique with the latest women’s fashion.
