"I'm Still Looking" Reveal Party
Earlier this year, Jim began his search for his perfect soulmate in Nash County with the help of Nash County Travel & Tourism (Explore Nash). Jim has gone on several dates, and each of the dates has a short video for you to see what it was like for Jim.
The “I’m Still Looking” campaign began with an introduction video to meet Jim. His dating adventures began shortly thereafter.
Jim went to Tap 1918 with Dena for the first date.
The second date was to Game Day at the Rocky Mount Event Center with Sofie.
Jim’s third date took him kayaking along the Tar River with Beth.
In addition to highlighting Jim’s date, Explore Nash has taken surveys about dating preferences and collecting bad date stories. You can also watch many short clips of Jim’s grandma responding to comments about Jim from fans.
They have also put together a great single day itinerary to help ease the break up blues. There is one for women and another for men going through a break up.
Another great feature, is that Explore Nash has created date plans to take out all the hard work for you. There are a variety of options including a romantic date and an artsy date. They’ve also created multi-day itineraries for those looking to explore, including the two-day “Out of the Ordinary” itinerary.
This Friday, April 14, you will have the opportunity to find out if Jim has met the one. Koi Pond Brewing Company will host the event from 5:30-10 p.m. Food trucks Cp3 Catering and Cinnabon will be there providing tasty food options. Will Guyton will perform live music as well, beginning at 6 p.m.
Be sure to head over to Koi Pond to find out if Jim has found his true love.
