Texas Roadhouse Opens September 14 in Rocky Mount

Rocky Mount is welcoming another new restaurant to town.

Texas Roadhouse will officially open its Rocky Mount location on Monday, September 14, bringing its well-known steaks, fresh-baked bread and made-from-scratch sides to the Twin Counties.

The new restaurant is located at 541 N. Winstead Avenue, an area that has continued to see new businesses and development in recent years.

To celebrate the opening, the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. on September 14, giving community members a chance to welcome the restaurant and its team to Rocky Mount.

Texas Roadhouse is known for its hand-cut steaks, ribs and fresh-baked bread, along with a menu featuring chicken, burgers, salads, appetizers and a variety of sides. The Rocky Mount location will offer both dine-in and to-go options.

The restaurant is also getting involved in the community before officially opening its doors. Texas Roadhouse is among the businesses supporting the 2026 Battle of the Badges, taking place September 12 at the Rocky Mount Event Center.

For those who have been watching the new restaurant take shape along Winstead Avenue, the wait is almost over.
